• Other things I've noticed in LTT was whenever Linus talked about how they produced their videos and showed his installations he talked about the prices of all their equipment and practices and frankly for me it didn't made sense at all, he was spending millions of dollars on the most stupid and useless shit or he was laying and saying fake number for dramatic purposes.
  On another note I always liked the videos featuring Anthony, it always felt like he used to go the extra mile for the tech videos and he seemed to know more than any other dude there. I couldn't remember his name so I googled fat dude on LTT and found out he now is a gorlock looking transgender and calls himself Emily lol what a disaster.

• Ooof. Every time Linus opens his mouth he just digs his hole a little bit deeper.

• I feel like this is making a mountain out of a molehill. Linus and his team admitted they messed up, took necessary steps to correct the issues, and thus far have stuck with their plan. Not just that but the employee that made the comments that sparked drama between GN and LTT, Tim, was let go from LTT. They messed up with the waterblock, yes. But they have done what they can to make it right, and took over a week to address the problem. I’m not a big LTT fan. But this video is out of touch. This isn’t a “downfall”, but their slap in the face to get their stuff together because quality and accuracy has taken a large turn for the worse. They’ve fixed a large majority of their issues and are still working on fixes and improvements to the point of postponing releases, and outright taking videos down to fix information.

• That HR meeting reminded me of way too many similar meetings I've had myself, where the guilty people use HR language to skirt around their own failings and basically deny and cover everything up, while turning back to attack the victims even further.

• I still find the billet labs cooler explanation insane and stupid. It looks cool and works but it is very expensive so it is a bad product.
  Does he know that there is a huge market for overpriced cars that aren't any more durable than normal cars and usually break more and are more expensive to fix like audis and benzes and other sports cars yet rich people buy them and many want to see reviews of them anyway.

• 1. Madison stated that she worked there for a month and was called into HR for causing drama. It just seems that she wasnt a fit for the role, difficult or not. It usually takes a bit to be called into a meeting about drama, so… she probably just should've been let go at that point.

  2. The role as she described it, did seem like ALOT to do for anyone. So, couple that with a person who's a bad fit for the role AND giving her unrealistic expectations, you have a recipe for disaster, and mental/emotional burnout.

  3. They probably thought they were being kind by not firing her and that just made things worse. They needed to just pull the plug and they would've been able to sail a little smoother.

  4. It's not her fault. They hired her, so, someone in their jobs/HR department is also not great at their job or put ideals over practicality. Madison was put in a no win situation.

  Based on this, SOMEONE is lying. Either Billet Labs or LMG. I mean, it could have also be GN misrepresenting Billet Labs, but come on.

• I pointed this misinformation stuff out years ago, but in that case because the misinformation aligned with consumers preconceived beliefs, it fell on deaf ears.

• idk. I'm not a LTT follower (I think I'm subbed, but that was a long time ago i dont even watch tech channels anymore) but I saw the drama and said something like "damn they should change their business and content creation model", but calling this a downfall felt really hyperbolic.

  Still tho, I gave this video a chance and after five minutes, I again remember / re-realized why I stopped watching these drama channels. This video is nothing short of hyperbolic, sensationalized dogshit. No joke, if you stuck to the facts and avoided fancy adjectives, this video would've been good, but the amount of smear you put just for clicks makes this a really questionable video, to put it lightly.

  EDIT: I felt a little bad writing this and said "nah maybe their reputation has fallen, let's check the stats" and from what I see, the channel is still doing good. The amount of hardcore critics of LTT still remain a minority, the channel is picking up from their subs loss, they haven't run out of sponsors. It seems that, maybe (if you're not focusing on the negatives just for clout), you could rationalize that the channel has learned from this horrible mistake they made and are correcting from said mistake. And from what I see, the changes are paying off. So where's the downfall again?

• The level of knowledge and work expertise between LTT and the "other guys" is huge. Anyone taking LTT serious are just blind sheep. Plebs will keep simping on him no matter what.
