  • microsoft doing this because theres still people/compaines exists that use windows server, it could be low like a linux desktop usage percent but it is still being used, if not microsoft is not going to release new versions, because it cost money and time, new version does not drop from the air like a magic.

I have used linux too, but theres no need to fight. (i still use it but not on my main pc)

  • Windows 11 + Windows 10 = Windows server 2025

  • Server 2025 still has the old snipping tool, on Windows 11 it has been replaced by the new Snip & Sketch.

  • if i got a dollar for every time this guy said server 2025, i'd be rich. (its ANNOYING!)

  • A server-oriented copilot could be fantastic as long as it's not a background process.

  • cant wait for my school to not have internet for a week while they are changing over to windows server 2025

  • I searched for Windows Server 2025 on a pc not associated with my google account and now I have more than that on my main Youtube

  • the whole concept of windows server is so dumb, why the hell would you ever need to waste resources by having a full desktop environment on a SERVER. just use linux smh

  • The future of windows server is this small side Project called "Linux"

  • I can't understand why anyone would use windows on a server when linux is better and free.

  • And still no resizeable default start menu and taskbar. That's crazy

  • What future? I don’t exactly think a timebomb is a good foundation for your futureproofing.

  • I keep getting a stupid pokemon card trading game ad and it sucks because I get it every 1 second please help 😢

  • Microsoft can try as hard as they wont, their operating system is too bloated and slow to ever take over the server and enterprise space. They simply cannot beat better options such as Debian, REHL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and especially not the upcoming distro from OpenELA (Open Enterprise Linux Association).

  • In true Microsoft fashion, they can't be consistent at all and resort to two different OOBE's

  • What if Copilot is on the server edition just in case you forgot something, you could ask it, or maybe you could change settings on the server with copilot, or it is a Windows 11 leftover.

  • You did that again. 😡How many times I need to tell you that provide the link in the video description

  • Even if you open cmd from the windows tools, it will still open Windows terminal.

That is because that classic black console is not the command prompt. cmd is just a text shell.

The classic cmd window is called the windows console host— that is basically the original Windows terminal application.

To use the legacy “cmd”, you’ll need to set default terminal application to use the windows council host (conhost.exe)

So in summary CMD is not being replaced with terminal. CMD never had a graphical user interface in the first place. The only thing changing is default termina is no longer conhost.exe

May Allah (S.W.T.) guide you and bestow upon you His Blessings; Ameen.

  • I use Windows Server on my PC, because its more lightweight!
Also you should take a look at some more hardware oriented topics. That would be cool!
