  • Savvies, just an FYI, Windows 10 or 11 automatically create restore points for you during major system events like updates or program installs. This is how to do it manually whenever you want.

  • I did this to combat any errors on any windows machine, but when the feature is needed the restore point failed to restore the system disk even its only a small changes happening on the system disk

  • It's not a trick or new.. Any tech, should already know this, Also you can do a system back up, which will at a predetermined day & time, backup everything you want backed up on your system..

  • I have ptsd with restore points because they kept disappearing when I made them. One day I made a major mistake on my old laptop and I looked for a restore point I created, but it's just… gone. Because of that, that laptop is now unusable.

  • Is the C drive always the boot drive? I upgraded to an Nvme drive a few months back and tried cloning my boot drive to have everything run off of it. I'm unsure of if everything is working properly and because I didn't do a great job of organizing drivesmy 4 drives, I'm unsure of if it's booting off of the C drive or my new drive.

  • Bruh I used that trash for prevention and when I loaded a restoration point most of my files were corrupted and now I got the blue screen of death
    I recommend making a back-up of ALL your files in a different drive from time to time, don’t trust this trash “feature” it won’t help a f*ck

  • It usually safer to use another drive since the C drive can be so corrupt that restore point don't work. It also don't work if you lack disk space..

  • Clicked it and it put me back to THE BSOD
