TUT90531 Integrating Identity with LDAPADeDir for OpenStack

Abstract: Security is a key topic in IT and SUSE OpenStack Cloud contains the Keystone service for seamless integration with an LDAP backend. With this service you can configure authentication and authorization services. This allows you to not only configure which users are able to use SUSE OpenStack Cloud but at the same time, you can limit the level of access for each user.
In this session, we will explain and demonstrate Keystone’s configuration files as well as on the LDAP side, whether you use Active Directory or eDirectory. Additionally, we will show how to separate role authorization and user authentication using the Assignment feature in Keystone.
