Ubuntu 16.04 End Of Life: Goodbye 16.04, Goodbye Unity
Today, the first Linux distro I used reached end of life. This signals a bit of a milestone for myself, but also the end of official support of the Unity desktop environment. This is a bit of a different video, but I hope you enjoy!
Various websites still hold download links for Ubuntu 16.04. I used this one: https://soft.lafibre.info/ if you want to download it and try it out yourself. Just know that because of the way Canonical ends support for Ubuntu, you won’t be able to download any software using Apt or the built in software center.
