Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Review – With Gnome Desktop
Ubuntu 18.04 codenamed Bionic Beaver is now using Gnome desktop after Canonical dropped the Unity desktop. This is a Long Term Support LTS release, supported for five years.
Most of the changes with this release have been underlying improvements to speed and security.
