Ubuntu 22.04 In VirtualBox – The Complete Guide
In this video, I will show you how to install Ubuntu in VirtualBox, on a Windows 10 PC. To install the operating system you will require VirtualBox installed with the Extention Pack, as well as the Ubuntu ISO. Both are linked below. This is the full installation of the OS including the Guest Additions package.

I'm actually trying to install MariaDB next and the guides I'm using say to be logged in as root. I setup putty and can ssh with the user I set up with this guide, but I when i log in with root i can't get past password…
a couple useful things is in virtual box, enable bidirectional clipboard sharing and in networking probably change NAT to Bridge for more flexibility.
Whoever is trying to run this setup on Windows 11 and having issues (very slow).
Make sure to turn off "Core Isolation" from the Windows Settings and reboot.

after successfully installing everything, when running that sudo apt install command it gives this error: "unable to locate package 5.19.0-42-generic", any idea why i dont have this package?
