The Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Release Jammy Jellyfish is out but it’s controversial. This video gives 3 reasons why.

Although reviews of Ubuntu 22.04 have been positive there are some problems at launch. Mainly issues with management.

The appimage story was covered by Brodie Robertson.

  • Since the release of this video, there has also been issues with the oomd service, making the "stable" distro seem very unstable

  • It has mouse lags when gui loads every time jaggy giltches etc i went to full ubuntu from windows then reverted back to windows after a week😊

  • Sudo apt remove firefox.
    Done
    Sudo apt-get install chrome-stable
    Done
Keyring is required to access chrome:

Did you mean Sudo snap install chromium-stable?
    Linux User be like: 🤬

  • Very true. I have to go to using a different OS for my libre computer

  • That logo look like maagekyu sharingan

  • I think this is the most resource intensive Ubuntu to date. It’s working borderline slow on my computer with a SSD and 16GB RAM. Needless to say, my motherboard/CPU is 10 years old.

  • If I install unbuntu and it doesn't come with Firefox I'm jumping off the nearest cliff what does it come with better not be chrome or I'm PISSED

  • Really quickly I do want to say that the appimage story was from Brodie Robertson. Go check him out since he covered the story first
