A new Ubuntu release is on the horizon. Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, has recently released Ubuntu 23.10 as a Beta. Of course, it’s still a prerelease version but still, we had to give it a try because, well, Ubuntu is one of the most popular – if not the most popular – Linux distribution in the world. Let’s see what’s new for average users!

Your voice sounds like you are close to dying 😂

I use Ubuntu Mate. Using 20.04 I think.
ubuntu is good for Dell Laptop i5 7th with 8Gb &256GB SSD ?
It's a fact that we criticize Ubuntu a lot, but Ubuntu is still the distro with the most users 😂😂
"Installation went smoothly… And with no major issue whatsoever." Wait, do you realize you had to click about 12 times to remove that naggy "Install Ubuntu 23.10 is not responding" window!?
I've been using Unix/Linux since the days of SunOS 3.x, and it's truly exciting to witness the evolution of Linux over the years. Just like commercial operating systems, Linux continually leaves room for improvement. I have a strong hunch that, down the road, AI will play a role in enhancing Linux even further.
Exciting! A new software manager was what Ubuntu most desperately needed.
I'm on ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and the default software manager, called "Software", always takes 4+ minutes to open, even just to tell you it doesn't support a filetype if you ever forget and try to use it to install a .deb or something.
Linux mint freeze when i open firefox amd kdenlive why ?
congratulations very nice ubuntu
I was not a fan off Gnome but after Gnome 44 i really like it
But the new installer i really cant stand i have major issues with it
Gave me the old installer than i can install it with btfs keep up the great work
I use Arch btw but I love Ubuntu. My fellow Arch users may hate on it in jest but it's my opinion that Ubuntu is one of the most important Linux distributions to have ever been created.
