Still enjoy using Ubuntu as my primary desktop OS though.

I presume you are trolling, but just in case you aren't, Ubuntu is a Linux based OS, just like Android. They share the same linux kernal which is why convergence is possible. Mac OSX and Linux are both 'Unix-like' but that is the only link.
