Its ubuntu-mate-desktop actually with customization which makes it look like Ubuntu Unity. I used proot-distro to run Ubuntu Unity on android or GNOMATE (name came after mixing GNOME and MATE, because they both were used). I already tried to run both Ubuntu Unity and GNOME on android. As you need full dependencies and alot of apps for it, somehow I was able to get all of them and even dbus in proot, I tried to run GNOME and Ubuntu Unity, but tigervncserver and Xserver XSDL kills the session itself while launching core apps and panel. So its pretty impossible to run full and real Ubuntu Unity on android. For that you need extra space too to run them.

I used ubuntu 20.04 with proot-distro which is currently latest ubuntu distro available for android with proot. Also for Ubuntu Unity in it, it will install alot of packages, to make vid small, I installed most of packages already and it installed the remaining one. Also while dpkg configuring, it will take almost 6-10 minutes to install Ubuntu Unity or ubuntu-mate-desktop with Ubuntu Unity looks. Animation works well and its very fast too.

Installation:-
Use this command in proot-distro, for proot-distro installation, you can find its post for installing instructions in GxmerSam blog.
apt update && apt upgrade && apt install ubuntu-mate-desktop tigervnc-standalone-server tigervnc-xorg-extension -y

After it, use rm -rf /var/lib/dpkg/info/*.postinst to fix udisks2 packages and some other packages as given in vid.

Use tigervncserver -xstartup /usr/bin/mate-session -geometry {x}x{y} command, without any of these flags, tigervncserver command will not work well.
