  • Let's see:

    -No shaky cam
-Clear and creative choreography that displays character
-Scenes that keep emotional engagement and tension without ruining it with a joke
-Great effects such as that slicing the fly effect
-Provides a good twist on what seems to be a straight forward story

This is amazing work! Loukman Ali, you are already LIGHTYEARS ahead of most Hollywood productions here in America. Keep going and keep creating!

  • I love what you're doing. I would advise that you maybe avoid making your work too Asian. I mean it in a sense that I understand it pays homage to asian cinema (Characterisation, music, cultural themes, fight sequences, etc), but this can still have an African presence to it. A great example is what the creatives did with the idea of Wakanda. Merging creative excellence from different cultures and weaving that into an African landscape. I hope this makes sense. Maybe for other projects in futire you might incorporate my suggestions, otherwise well done in any case. Great cinematography. Rome wasn't built in a day.

  • "Now I Have Both Your Man And Child" lol thats hilarious. But Overall this was amazing work. Sending my love and Blessings.

  • This is great, thank you for sharing this with us on YouTube.

  • this is incredible, i loved every minute of it and cannot wait to see more. i am an American of Nigerian roots, 47 percent and 37 percent Malian.. i am so proud to see a film from the motherland. keep on doing what you have a passion for..

  • That fly did nothing, I can only hope his family takes revenge in the next episode!!

  • 🙏🏾🙌🏾💪🏾🎥🎞️🥋🎎🤜🏾💥🤛🏾

  • That is lukman Ali for you, support and true fan from Kenya

  • Very cool. Superbly done. But if you look at Asian movies, although they mimic the current trends in other cultures, they always sprinkle that on top of an underlying dominant theme set in the advancement and promotion of their own culture and values. Chinese film is a discernable expression and promotion of indigenous Chinese culture, it's memetic inventory is dominated by the dominant items strung together samples of Chinese philosophy, art, political messages, and economic messages. The stories by Asian filmmakers are really variants of the same handful of iconic stories, heroes, and antagonists taken from their history and or imagination. So is this the case with Japanese films regarding the advancement of Japanese memetics. The result is that you now have traces of those memes in your art.

Nothing is wrong with that but if African filmmakers want to dominate in Africa… they will likely have to advance discernably African philosophy, political concepts, economic notions, and history. they will have to advance the iconic stories, heroes, and antagonists. and the critical moments in African history and creativity. African culture has to be the underlying centerpiece on display. Done with similar style and grace African film can become the cultural icon towering over Africa, rather than some Asian or European counterpart. In that case, people will come to Africans such as the awesome filmmaker here to interact with the unique aspects of African memetics as can only be expressed by Africans…………rather than coming to us as middlemen for Asian, or European culture.

All of that said, the film work here is spectacular. The character designs, as well as casting and actors, is/are great, and the short story told so far, draws you in. The scene setups were well thought out, and I look forward to seeing more.

I just want to see more iconic African culture in the critical moments of the piece, rather than the iconic memetics of Asia and or Europe.

  • Just amazing, speachless. Only 5 min but very entertaining

  • Look I have ideas for an African superhero film/story in the works, If God blesses me and I am in the right position to approach this Director I will definitely send a proposal coz this was amazing.

  • The only saving grace of this film was that the fights were short and the crooks were knocked down with a few kicks and punches , unlike mainstream movies where it looks like ironmen are fighting each other , not humans .

  • NICE…✊🏾
    DETROIT ❤

  • Very impressive. I really hope this gets picked up for a feature film. Keep doing dope shit!

  • not sure how this came around my feed. that said very glad it did. just liked and followed. will definetily spread the word!

  • John wick where is his guns
Truly stupid comparison change the title

EDIT: Im also kind of sad the capoeirista didnt get more time to shine considering its roots in Africa but…. still it was nice to see

  • film was just dope ALL the way around! cant wait to check out your filmography, much love from E Africa 🙌🏽🙏🏽
