• Unfortunately in my case it ended up being a faulty controller, Xbox 360 wired controller just all of a sudden after 3 years stopped working with Device Descriptor Request Failed, Tried USB Oblivion & then tried the controller on another PC and it had the same error, also tried cleaning the USB connector end on the controller wire but no luck. Went to the closest store (Walmart lol) and ended up buying a PowerA Xbox One wired controller for $27, we'll see how long it lasts so far it seems pretty solid and feels nicer than the 360 controller.

• Here's a quick solution it might not work for everyone but it worked for me so just take off the usb and try it on a different device if the mouse still doesn't work then it's something wrong with your mouse
