Use a web address in DNS for a local web server

You can create virtual hosts with web addresses that you add to the hosts file, or you can also use a web address in DNS for this.

You just need a DNS entry that points to 127.0.0.1. There are several existing web addresses that already point to this IP address that you can use without having to change anything in DNS.
