Valve software have joined the Linux foundation. The Linux Foundation’s mission is to promote the linux platform – and valve are certainly not the only major member. AMD, Intel, Dell are among just a few of the big names responsible for helping the Linux Foundation.
It’s worth remembering that with the Linux based SteamOS due for release soon by valve, it’s an unsurprising move on their part. But it does show the companies commitment to the platform.
