Verizon Samsung 4G LTE Android Phone Hands-On from CES 2011

We go hands on with the Samsung 4G LTE phone for Verizon. The phone doesn’t yet have a name but it promises to be one of the more impressive 4G LTE phones from the carrier. It has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which offers 50% more subpixels than a standard Super AMOLED screen.

  • i wonder how long that maintenace release will take

  • @DarknessAlchemist00 Oh shut up, you know damn well that something very close to it will go on every other carrier.

  • @JesperValentine I did find out the 40% transparent OLED screen was active matrix. I was viewing some YouTube videos of CES 2010 and the display stated the Samsung screen was/is AMOLED (Active Matrix).

  • @JesperValentine Not kidding you. The OLED by Samsung, at CES 2010, displayed a OLED that was 40% transparent. I don't know if it was passive or active matrix, due to the sign just stating OLED. Samsung also displayed a ultra thin sAMOLED display that stated sAMOLED. Sony also had something similar. I do understand the evolution of technology. Do you know if the transparent OLED is passive or active? Thanks in advance. -pH4b14n

  • Wow, the upload is 2 to 5, and a sAMOLED plus screen. Hopefully Samsung will come out with OLED on their next mobile devices. Good job Samsung (Mobile).
