Virtual Land is BOOMING — here's why (metaverse investor guide)
There’s been a gold rush in Virtual Worlds over the last couple of years (Decentraland, Cryptovoxels, Sandbox, etc.), where people have been buying and selling NFTs that represent individual parcels of land for a lot of money, in some cases even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Fortunately you don’t need to buy expensive land to invest in these projects — most large blockchain based metaverse games have their own cryptocurrencies, and they’ll go up if/when these projects get more demand.
In fact so far this year Decentraland’s MANA is up 750% and Sandbox’s SAND is up 800%, far outpacing Ether and Bitcoin.
If you believe even 1% of the metaverse predictions then you need to pay attention to what’s happening in this part of the crypto space.
In this video I explain what the bull thesis/best case scenario is for these platforms, what the investment horizon might be vs traditional NFT games or something like Bored Ape Yacht Club/Meebits, and whether or not I’m personally buying in.
