We bought a complete abandoned metal Fabrication shop facility loaded with everything!

We couldn’t pass up a unique opportunity to buy a local fabrication shop! So many possibilities with this one. We also installed some new lights at another building from our friends at Hyperlight. Very impressed with the Led lights so far!

  • Definitely would be good to see a big "yard" sale of all the "random items" there could be quite a value in all that junk if you could get rid of it without paying to dispose of it…) even giving it away first come first served could save a lot of costs….

  • Sun Drop bottle floaties are probably the cork material form the cap. Maybe???

  • That plastic isn't cheap either depending on the grades…

  • I wonder if they were making things like sterilizing racks or washing racks for hospitals or manufacturing medical devices – that would explain some of the plastic in combination with the steel.

  • Aunt Jemima is almost racial slur…
    That’s been there since 2021 at least…

  • I happen to know a roll off company that would set some roll offs for all the scrap. Happens to be the same one you use at your shop.

  • Never a dull moment , and what a life ,too have the termerity too stay above all the shit that went on that takes some staminer of the senses , what a very clever guy, Danny i salute you Sir , Thanks for creating a picturess sense of the moment in your disclosures, Man theirs some really wiered shit go,s on by us humans., I guess their never will be peace on earth from here on in (too many fractions ) Wonder how it will end ?. Razzo

  • For sure would love videos of those buildings being cleaned out and organized. Love that kind of stuff

  • I would literally die if I found out I owned a shop like this.

  • First time watcher (i think), only about 10m in. This generation of LED have those aluminum heat sinks, some get real large depending on the output. I noticed the quick install and wanted to give you a heads up the metal on those backs is designed to heat up and that you should reconsider leaving the power cord just flopped onto it. Have the lads run back through and ziptie the slack before you run the risk of an exposed wire. If you're buying a machine shop, I imagine you know this is one of those tiny details than can make a bad day.
*Watching through to the end, you've got quite the project here. Any word from anyone who used to work there? I'll show this to my stepdad, he makes runs up north seasonally to check in on some matter in NJ, he might wanna side step with a trailer and take a look.

  • I like seeing everything about your business, whether working on equipment, going to the auction, rebuilding a shop, or working on your equipment. I'd also like to know if you would be getting rid of some of your smaller metalworking equipment?

  • I kind of feel bad for the guys that lost a job likely due to pandemic B.S. I would try and reach out to them and see if they want any of the stuff your going to toss out….

  • The company I use to work for bought an staircase/hand rail company, and we had to move them out of there building into another one. It took 5 guys working 40 hours a week around a month to just clean all the scrap, trash, and junk off the property. They kept every single piece of cutoff material from 1” to 40’ from the 40 years they were at that building. I think we hauled off around 20 30 yard dumpster of scrap, trash. We kept 2 semi trailer loads of material left over.

  • Congrats on the purchase. Bittersweet seeing a business that apparently just either couldn't make it or…….
Suggest finding someone who knows Haas to come in for an hour or so and go thru both machines to back up Machen parameters(very important) and verify basic operation.
CNC's not something you want to just turn on without knowing what can happen. "Ghosts in the Machines" are a real thing.
Start them up and a wrong or stuck button causes a movement you can't stop without getting hurt
Good luck with your new adventure

  • Clint, I like the little Job box on wheels. How much would ya take for it sir????

  • C&C indoor RC race track & El Camino storage

  • With all that Stainless steel, the shear, break and roller……..I can see your boys turning out hundreds of new urinals for U.S. Navy ship construction.

  • Put your jeep parts there and make some stainless steel jeeps they make those in Philippines.

  • My question is: Why was it just left as/is? Seems to me like the bank or feds came in and locked the prior proprietors out and the guys that worked there were out of luck on getting their stuff back.

  • Captain Kleeman and Matt from diesel creek would be in heaven to tour that place😂👍 love the tour🤙

  • The plastic profiles in the racks are not sheap , (if you don't need it put it up for sale as one lot.) Depending on the plastic type it may be for glide shoes, or mecanical components. You can fabricate stuff with it on cnc machines, on use is to make
Pluggs for molds if you should need to make a replacement part in metal that is rare for old machines and sutch.
I bet a business doing transmission / actuators pneumatic stuff would be interested.

Dont rush the clean up ,to the degre that usfull stuff goes in the landfill.

  • sad that someone went broke like that. how many stations that wont be providing employment for guys that can TIG

  • I wanted to see what you scored so bad that I threw up twice from motion sickness watching your video.

  • I would absolutely adopt that furby, if i was closer id volunteer some time to help with the clean out no problem.

  • Sundrop is still produced in glass bottles and Shawano, Wisconsin and yes, those are Floaties and are supposed to be in there

  • That plastic stuff is UHMV its used as guides . Its a self lubricating material. Very expensive.

  • The breathalyzer thing is a co2 oxygen monitor. Use when welding in closed spaces.

  • Kleene sanitize hard had first U have no idea who's head it's been on. Really common sense yo

  • Aunt Jemima bottle is about 3 years old it was made before the rebrand to pearl milling company.

  • Clint, you’ve bought a diamond in the rough! I look forward to watching some awesome videos! Take care and I’ll see y’all down the road…
