Red Hat has gotten a lot of hate from people for ending support early on CentOS Linux 8, and CentOS Stream has unfortunately been on the firing line for it. Apparently it's been branded with the Scarlet 'U' as unstable, but as far as I've seen, Stream is just as good as the CentOS Linux variants. I'm hoping that CERN's adoption of Stream for its testing machines will be a signal to the community that Stream is a fantastic OS and that CentOS is, in fact, not dead.
