What Does the File Browser Look Like in Different OSes?
This video shows both what the UI of each file browser looks like as well as how each OS’s file system is structured. E.g. Windows has drive letters and backlashes, Linux has mount points and forward slashes.

Anyone notice anything funny about the dates in Windows 1 and 2 MS-DOS Executive, Windows 3.1 File Manager, and Windows Chicago Explorer?
Where Xbox?
!!!! FREEBSD MENTIONED! FREEBSD MENTIONED!!!!!
I came for the video and stayed for the music.
You forgot ms dos shell from dos 4
😎👍👍
Anyone notice the "driver BANANA unit 0" at the beginning of the video?
Never knew that Nautilus took simplicity that seriously.
Good video! I'd think it would be more useful to mention that the "Arch Linux file manager" is just the GNU Coreutils ls and the BASH cd programs (present on all Linux distros using the Coreutils and BASH with analogues for other distros and BSD) and link the other Linux file managers with their desktop environments (GNOME, Plasma, etc.) rather than the distro they are running on.
How did you managed to use win 95 with widescreen mode? Via virtual box?! 2:22
Longhorn is the most beautiful thing i've seen
9:36 Where is an UWP File Explorer in Windows 10?
18:00 I still use FX File Explorer to this day for ftp.
🗂️
Love your shorts and vids, keep it up 💯💯❤👌
A DOS is text type.

Theese memories from Windows… Never forget you
21:28 reactOS look like windows 98 why?
bro probably got one drive dedicated for virtual machines
If WoOS replies to this comment, I'll try to do a backflip.
Great video! Mac OS 14 is missing, but it's still good.
0:10 killbot os
The only mac os in this video is the outdates mac os 10.8 this is how much wintrash users hate mac os
The explorer in Windows 98 started to be usable in today's standard
And Windows XP explorer works best to me, especially for its search function.
Actually, ShiftOS is not a real operating system, it is just a Visual Basic-based user interface that brands as an 'operating system'.
