What is a Switch Device?

– Switches support full-duplex communication, allowing simultaneous sending and receiving of data on the same connection, which enhances network speed and efficiency.

– Switch:
– Operates at the data link layer (Layer 2), directs data to specific ports based on MAC addresses, reducing collisions and enhancing efficiency.
