It’s been years since we advertised VPNs, and there were some good reasons to stop. Is it time to give them a second chance?

  • PIA is also owned by same company as express vpn , cyberghost and many more so no thank you

  • There is a few vpn I like but those who do sponsorships are never the good ones, like mullvad or also proton is also not that bad etc.

  • VPN also lets me have ad free experiance so i can pirate the LTT experiance

  • if you fuck up even Proton will not keep you safe — Proton will hand over logs if asked

  • Been using PIA for about 3 years, overall 9/10 but 10/10 seems impossible so they are good in my book.

  • PIA, owned by a company known for making spyware in the past, pass. Nice shilling. Mullvad ftw.

  • Windscribeee since 2018 no regrets they still independent.

  • I just love it sooo much! I want to give this 1000 likes. Every episode gets better and better. Thank you so much

  • Proton stuff is made by nordvpn guys as well, so i wouldn't trust it. The whole nord security brand is a scam and built on lies

  • 2:06 me and my friends still does this to play on our private minecraft server hosted on the university computer 😂

  • "From a provider with strong privacy protections like Protonmail"

Look, Protonmail is great, but they will absolutely not protect your identity any more than they did that French climate activist who they had to turn in. Companies can ALL be legally forced to provide whatever data they have about you, so either make sure to not provide any data, or don't trust any companies with your data to not just hand your data over to anyone that requests it.

  • Linus is 37 years old and his voice is still cracking like he's just hit puberty. Seriously, what is going on?

  • Nobody ever talks about whether the other services are up to code, just the ones they are affiliated with… I have heard ExpressVPN is top tier and have really wanted to see someone like LTT or Some Ordinary Gamers do a video on them.

  • PIA? One of the vpns owned by a known Israeli malware distributor and insider trader? Interesting choice..

  • A public VPN will not save you overall. You can attempt it to get to the deep/dark web, you will be found and the "good" people will tell you. Even a tech savvy person can not stop what is out there. Even a VPN to another location that used a VPN with a pseudo windows account and I was met with a "good" person telling me my address. You are never safe online if people deem it.

  • I recently signed up PIA and it's been pretty good for the past month I've used it. I used Nord VPN a while back until I heard some negative practices they had so I dropped them.

  • I remember ‘hidemyass’ VPN years ago – I was shocked/disgusted to find out they logged data. Managed to get a PayPal claim raised to get a full refund. Been with NordVPN ever since, will give PIA a try after my sub expires

  • This is %100 an ad for PIA.

You may want us to forget that you dropped PIA for their spyware ties but, for one, have not.

This is one of the more dishonest channels on YouTube.

  • Most people use a VPN to hide from their ISP. But I actually trust my particular ISP more than any VPN company. They are actually on the forefront of protecting privacy

  • Government can't get my info. Tf u talking bout. U were born there bruh. I don't trust gov just cause their security is SHIT.

  • I use a vpn to access steam Japanese games 😂😂

  • Linus is working towards world record in bad takes in a single year.
I wouldn't mind if LTT took reliable, trustworthy VPN sponsorships. Thing is. Those don't offer sponsorships. The only reason Linus wants to take those sponsorships, is most likely simply because they just raised their offers. Everyone has a price, Linus isn't an exception either.

Let me guess, if I don't click his link to the sponsor it's piracy too, right? Eat that Linus, I'm using Firefox with Ghostery +uBlock.

  • With a VPN, you are just changing who can see your data, and the government can still force the VPN company to share data. (unless they are mulvad, or one of the other few who genuinely care about making sure they collect no data)

  • Actually, unless they are the government, they can't find your exact location from your IP. They will only find the location of the data center closest to you. Which could actually be far away (which is the case for me). And if it's close, you are likely in a big city, but then you are already obscured by the large amount of other people there.
If you really want to hide your IP, use something like TOR instead. It's free, and it has the benefit of diluting the TOR traffic to not only be whistleblowers, and people with oppressive governments, which means that TOR will be more secure.

  • Why is the price for one moth £9.99 and using your link its £10.99?

  • for LAN gaming, zerotier-one is one to go
free, open-source, does not really encrypt anything, but that's the point, it's use case is when you need lan

for vpn i personally use XTLS-reality (which is not a vpn, really, but a protocol). I've set it up on a VPS and, and while it was really painful (this coming from an arch user, so yes, really painful), there are open-source solutions to make the setup a little bit easier

also it was developed to surpass china's great firewall and it is the bleeding edge technology for vpn's
