Linux mint cinnamon is best distro after testing alot of linux
I can use Cinnamon on Arch too. And I have AUR on Arch.
I've been using Mint for a month now. I don't like it. It's not customizable enough. that Start menu looks even worse than Win11. I'm switching to something suited for KDE soon, probably Debian or Arch.

Only problem with cinnamon is scaling. I am on a framework 13 and tried mint first. The panel of this laptop has a very high resolution. Thats the main problem. Fractional scaling exists, but causes so many issues on 3:4 aspect ration of framework laptop. Also you have to manually scale every app to the point where you can read the text without getting headaches. If the app doesnt offer you to scale up… there is no way. Ubuntu offers scaling out of the box and it works… ok… but not fine. Text is blurry etc. I am now on fedora kde which scales automatically to a good point where you can read the text without issues and also has plenty of room to fill with content. I recommend kde as desktop to every framework user. Its the best experience in my opinion.
Furtherway i like mint a lot. I gave an old pc to my uncle with linux mint. Its so intuitive. If i had to teach a kid getting used to a computer i would give him mint as os. Its so much easyer to learn then windows. I think we all should use mint as our daily driver office machines. Its simple, working (i am looking at you windo… *BLUE SCREEN*), intuitive and superior to every other os and the best of all: Its no spyware entirely designed to collect every information its getting (windows 🙂 i think you get the point: i dont like windows nor microsoft and mass murderer psychopath bill gates)
