Windows 10 was offered as a free upgrade from your Windows Vista/7 and 8 systems. As a result, many of us did upgrade. The issues mostly encountered by the users were the incompatibility of hardware and drivers – because initially, they were designed to run on your original windows before upgrading, and after the upgrade, they transited permanently into Windows 10. This is by far the most common cause of random hangs & freezes on Windows 10.
Some of your programs and drivers may work without issues, but some may just become incompatible of which the most common one affected is the Video/Graphics driver. There are other causes as well aside from Video/Graphics driver but since this is the most common one, we will troubleshoot it first.
Before you begin, sometimes a clean install may also help but since it’s not a sure shot confirmation that Windows 10 will work flawlessly – it is best to troubleshoot and address the original issue (which is what we intend to do) through the various methods that have helped others.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).

Damn after 8hrs of blaming windows… it was the fu*cken bios 😂😂😂😂
Many issue stem from power management settings. Specifically when using ssd.
I am not surer why we need to watch all of the disk check and scannow process in real time…
Mine keeps freezing – won't allow scan from tools. so frustrated.
Thank you so much you help alot.and glad could understand.clearly.
I haven't done scanning with sfc and now my pc keeps freezing at same time
Before running the sfc /scannow command, first run dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth, this will make sure the OS image is not corrupted, so when you do the sfc /scannow it is a good image to use. If the image is corrupted do a dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth command to fix the image, then run the sfc /scannow command. I always do the /scanhealth command before running /scannow, also I do these commands after every feature update. I did this one time out of curiosity after a major feature update to Windows, and there were corrupted files found, so now I do these every feature update, just to be sure.
