Windows 10 End of Support – What can I do ?
Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end after October 14, 2025. If you have a PC running Windows 10, you need to take steps to ensure that it stays secure and works as it should. In this video, I will explain what this means for you and your options.
Windows versions coming to the end of support is nothing new. I have dealt with this since the days of Windows 3.1, then Windows 95, then XP, and so on. We had the same discussion when Windows 7 reached its end-of-support date, and we will have the same again with Windows 11 one day, so this is a never-ending cycle.
After the end-of-support date, your PC running Windows 10, or any other version of Windows that goes past its support date, for that matter, will not receive any security updates. As time passes, vulnerabilities, or exploits, are discovered in operating systems and other software. These exploits can allow hackers or people who should not normally have access to your PC to access your files and folders and potentially watch what you are doing.

how to repair windows 7
I'll take my risks with hackers and viruses and therefore jeopardize the whole network over risking my old hardware and peripherals not working as intended because they're simply not supported anymore. Sorry folks, but "upgrading" is too much of a hassle.
alternative title: the end of Microsoft
IDC, I already end-of-supported it myself by permanently disabling updates since 2022, holy: never had a Bsod, never freezes, never bootloops, never ads, never W11 Microsoft extortion and annoyances and best of all: Not a single driver being downgraded by Microsoft without even telling me until I find out due to problems
Linux Mint 🙂
Short Answer, Switch to linux.
Luckily I haven’t had to have a laptop/pc for quite a few years now. I find that my iPad Pro satisfies my needs.
