Windows Server 2025 (Server Core) Basic Installation

This video covers a basic, typical installation of Windows Server 2025 server core on a physical server or in a virtual environment. The detailed steps are similar and can be used for Windows Server 2022. For an advanced installation demonstration. For an advanced installation demonstration, see “Windows Server 2022 Advanced Installation.” The installation demonstrated is straightforward, followed by compulsory and recommended configuration steps. The steps in this demonstration, however, are platform agnostic and only cover installing the operating system after booting with the install media. Steps for preparing a physical server or an underlying host hypervisor are not covered and are outside the scope of this video.
