  • You gotta be sure that windows is actually doing a cold boot, because "shut down" really just means hibernate there days.

  • windows doesn't necessarily need that much ram, those are just extra according to how you use your computer
it predicts what you'll do next so that the program you try to open opens quicker
windows will run on much lower ram on systems with lower ram

  • Not biased at all.

If you won't believe this comparison, see it for yourself.

    Ubuntu > W11 anytime.

  • Bodhi linux 7.0 hwe runs about 500 mb on fresh boot 😮😂

  • In my case, Windows boots almost instantly after entering the password

  • It's s funny reading people saying like" Oh Windows uses 1GB more of RAM, Windows uses 2GB more of RAM. I have 64 GB DDR5 on my PC and i don't care about this stupit conversation for pentium 4 owners ahahahahahah.

  • I haven't really used ubuntu before but that ram tho 2.6GB on fresh boot☠️ my fedora intstall only takes about 900MB ☠️☠️

  • My windows 7 takes a whole minute to boot tho💀

  • 1:18 why does it take so long for windows to loads

  • I think you have enabled fast boot in windows, thats why it booted that fast, and because ubuntu doesnt have any alternative to FastBoot, ubuntu has cold booting, so its slower.

  • Nice! You should make the difference between distros too and it should become an interesting video.
