✅ About this video:
As we continue this journey, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our routines and decrease our stress. Internet access is always on our minds and is a big part of our decision making when we research locations. With Cindy and I, Harold, having to work full time along with two teenagers in a virtual high school, we need solid internet access. Let’s not forget about YouTube videos! Today, we are installing a Winegard Gateway 4g Lte Wifi Router. We went with this option since our RV already had the Winegard 360 dome on the roof. This is compatible with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. We will show you how we installed the gateway router along with performing a speed test. Spoiler alert… It was faster!

  • I am having issues with my verizon sim, even the ome i bought from winegard says no sim found. There isnt an option to switch to 4G lte. I dont think i am goimg to be able to use verizon. I spent 3 hrs on phone with verizon and they said it needs to be a bussiness plan so idk

  • Will AT&T just give me a SIM card if I already have an unlimited data & phone plan with them? Or, will I be adding another device to my plan and therefore increasing my bill?
    Thanks in advance

  • thanks for sharing we are just stepping into the pond and this was good information…

  • So i just bought a used rv with the winegard 360 system and router, i called to get it activated and i added it to my tmobile account, its showing a strong signal, and im able to connect to it, but says its not connected to the internet, so im wondering if this has to do with your explanation of switching it to 4g lte….

  • We just got this. Why is it so complicated? Why didn't you install the power button?

  • Your didn't install the on/off switch…so it will stay on and possibly drain the battery

  • Can I take my existing Verizon MiFi sim card and put it into a Wingard gateway and get Wi-Fi signal the same way I would using the Verizon MiFi router?

  • I have Verizon as well. If you go to the 4G LTE setting, does it allow you to pick up Wi-Fi from most RV parks and then use your Winegard router as your personal Wi-Fi for your rig?

  • Good video but no use to us, the last thing I want when camping is internet 😊

  • How many campgrounds in the mountains have a 4g signal? Or, you have nothing if there is no 4g signal?

  • Any update on overall reliability of the Winegard? As far as the router & interface itself getting sluggish or needing unexplained reboots to recover connection? Thank you.

  • I'm hoping you see this as this video is a year or so old, but how is the signal strength for the modem when attached to camp wifi, how far from the router does it still effectively work? Thank you for the great videos!

  • Does the gateway have a better receiving signal for 4G LTE than you cell phone in remote locations? I have my camper on a remote piece of property in rural Florida and only get 1 bar of signal if I'm lucky. I'm looking for a solution that will enable WiFi and improve my cell reception. If this unit can receive a stronger signal then my phone, I can use WiFi for calls and texting so it would solve my issue. Let me know if you know. Thanks!

  • Is there a 5G version of this for the 360 antenna?

  • My weingard sucks ass. I’m lucky if it stays visible/connected for 5 minutes.

  • Hey y'all just curious if you are still using this product for your internet, if so how well is it working for you?

  • Good evening. This video is money! Truly appreciate your content. I had a question. I think I heard you say you had Verizon on your iPad, does that mean you used the SIM card that was in your iPad? If so, did you have to change your plan? Thanks
