Wireshark Workshop with Jeff Carrell
This Wireshark workshop will cover basics of Wireshark operations, how to setup/configure Wireshark for optimal use, and tips concerning multiple profile configurations to quickly navigate viewing of the information.
After Wireshark has been configured, various network protocols will be viewed and focus will be shown on specific areas within Wireshark as to what is most important to be looking at – it’s all about “training your eyes” to look at a bigger picture before you drill-down to specific data.
There will be hands-on/follow Jeff lab exercises in order to demonstrate the newly learned ease-of-use capabilities within Wireshark. Specific trace files will be made available for the hands-on labs.
In order to participate in the hands-on labs, workshop participants will need to have a computer with Wireshark v3.x or above installed and running.
