Flite Advantage has given some love to their signature product- the Raytheon T-6A Texan II, with improved cockpit textures and functionality.

It has been a while since I have hopped in, and it certainly will not be “by the books”, but let’s continue our exploration of the Bora Bora area by going for a flight!

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you like the plane. To elaborate on some things you covered, yea, the flight model is plugin-enhanced. Austin added a few datarefs for me a few years ago to dynamically modify all forces on the aircraft so I am able to adjust the lift force for example to ensure that the AOA vs airspeed curves are exact for all weight and flap settings. Same applies to level speeds which is tuned by adjusting an extra force dataref. Turn performance is also plugin-enhanced. The USAF was able to provide all of the data needed to help with flight model tuning including providing data which is not found in the manual. The T-6B we sell is actually more sophisticated with a glass cockpit and a HUD focused out to infinity at a realistic brightness level thanks to some new functionality added in by Austin in the last XP update. I think this is the first for an X-Plane aircraft.

In regards to mirrors, unfortunately we're not able to add something that works really well. We provide 2 choices for the user, one using the camera and one just setting the mirror to be as shiny as possible. We attach a static replacement png file, btw so you can get rid of the static to make it look less like a tv screen. You can toggle between the 2 options as you found by clicking on the mirrors.

Takeoffs are normally done at full power. Like you found you'll get a gear warning tone if torque is less than 82 and the flaps are down.

We don't actually have real engine sounds but I found some that were close and synthesized one of my own. We're still hoping to get on base sometime soon to record some sounds from the real plane as soon as covid restrictions allow.

The package also comes with discord support and other goodies like the formation plugin that lets you record and practice formation flying. Some sample recordings are also provided. This is going to be modified to provide guidance and scoring on formation flying technique.

Cause I found out about this aircraft recently, and trying to find out whether they are still in update. I tried to find their recent news, but I was unable to find news that were recent.

Interesting bird! I remember seeing these "Tucanos" (presume we're talking about the same aircraft here, but I'm not totally sure) whist growing up, loved seeing them buzzing around on the way to school. Really great to see some XP11 content too. Cheers!
