  • 👉1. This is the way to reset the password for the local account.
    2. In the process, all data remains in place, only the password is deleted.

  • This is really help me a lot ..saving so much time…i wont put password again in my laptop..so many password in my head..

  • Im trying to do method 1 but what do i do after i see the "Microsoft Windows [Version 10.022621.1194]

  • Either I cant find the system reset button or it dosnt have one what do I do then?

  • My user name consists of 3 words , and NET USER and user name does not work. Any idea how to select the user name with 3 words?

  • Method 4 worked for me , but after I run wpeutil reboot , the laptop reboots , I can hear the windows sound but the screen remains black. Is there a way to revert ? Or what can I do next ? I can boot from the flash drive and get back in cmd via method 4

  • I have recuperated everything, this video is the absolute best! But I noticed my saved pwd on the wev are gone 😢 is this normal?

  • I used this with method 3, all was working well until the wpeutil reboot, when my computer didn’t reboot properly and now I’m in an endless cycle of my pc trying to install a new version of windows as shown at 3:31. This means that I can’t to the login screen at all as it just keeps asking me to restart when I click cancel on the new windows install, and then when my pc restarts it just takes me back here again. If I try it without the USB stick in, and restart my computer, I can get to the login screen but the my accessibility icon does not cause anything to come up, not even the usual narration etc options. I tried to just open up the command window again with the USB back in to check whether what I’d done before worked, and it had an error with moving the file because I assume it had already moved. Would anyone know why this is happening? I’m using a Microsoft pc windows 10.

  • My laptop isn't working still, I held shift and restarted the laptop but it brong me back to the same sign in screen, nothing changed and all 4 of these method's were not useful for my situation

  • I've been at a loss, wasted so much time but now, after watching this video I feel optimistic about the lost password issue! Fingers crossed! Wish me luck! I'll report back.

  • For me it method one didn’t work when I pressed enter when prompted to enter a password on the command prompt. So I entered another password into it and tried that when it logged in and it worked straight away. Thank you 👍

  • In the boot terminal only X drive is showing. No other drives to find windows files

  • @ipMalik bro this my problem please try to help me -This sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdown Use different sign-in option or keep your device powered on for at least 2 hours and then try again

  • Worked Flawless on my friends computer. Used a windows 8.1 install disk and used quotes on the two name user name. Password was blanked with no issues. Great video that was organized and chronologically correct. Thank you! Thumbs UP! 👍

  • When I got Space space, it doesn’t let me use that. Said the new password doesn’t meet the complexity of the password.
