  on this tutor at the step of 'prerequisites check'

  it says one or more prerequisites failed.please fix these issues and click rerun prerequisites check.

  and at the bottom it says verification of prerequisites for domain controller promotion failed.the local administrator account becomes the domain administrator account when you create a new domain.the new domain cannot be created because the local administrator account password doesn't meet the requirement.

  so pls help me pls pls

• Vikas, thanks for your contribution. I tried very hard to connect my W7 PC to a Lenovo W2012 server. I watched many, many videos for an answer but none worked. Your explanation, as fast as it was though, was the only one that materialized this connection. I followed you step by step .. Very carefully rewinding your video to the end. My Network is working now. Thanks to you… Good work and keep up the good work. I hope many more follow your step by step configuration process. Take care.

• Appreciate the upload and it's great that Vikas is trying to help folk like myself understand Server 2012. However he fails to acknowledge to viewers that his misnaming of the client computer object entry causes him issues from 13:40 to 14:20.

  The actual client computer was named "WIN7-CL1" – but Vikas named the computer OU object as "WIN7-CL01" . As a result, the server now has 2 client computer entries. When Vikas added the client computer to the domain, the server added the client to the default location ("Computers") instead of under the object Vikas had created for it ("INDIAWorkstations"). This is why the object under "INDIA" (13:43 and 14:01) has empty fields while the computer object in the default "Computers" location (13:54) correctly contains the details of the actual client computer.

  At 14:19 – 14:20 he stops the recording, deletes the incorrectly named "WIN7-CL01" object and then moves the correctly named "WIN7-CL1" object into the "INDIA" OU without acknowledging this – then resumed the recording.

  Again, appreciate the upload, but acknowledging and addressing mistakes such as this actually helps others learn (I know it helped me). Whereas ignoring them, editing them out and making it appear as though the server automatically fixed it somehow can actually have the opposite effect and may confuse people trying to learn.

  Apologies if I'm somehow mistaken since, as mentioned, I am learning still – but I'm pretty sure that this is the case here.
