  • Lert me say this about Ubuntu:
    – I went away from Ubuntu since a decade! I am more archlinux user than debian-derived.
    I am now using Ubuntu 23.04 by force because all of the other distros ( including Archlinux!! ) fails to operate my actual needs.
    You have finalized to convince me to jump on the Ubuntu train again. It is so beautiful and straightforward. Yet I did not test steam and PathOfExile on it yet tho 🙂

    Thank you sir;

  • Great recommendations. Except Ubuntu-cleaner because it hasn't been updated for the last 3 years from the looks of it.

  • Confirming what you found about the Gstreamer error message when attempting to play a video file: I had the same experience with it as you. I followed your advice and installed VLC. Problem disappeared. As always, thank you for the excellent insights on Linux. They are comprehensible and thorough.

  • When i add the user themes extention and install gnome tweaks and put a custom theme in shell and legacy applications all the gnome apps except the terminal have the default theme. Some apps even have the close, minimize and maximize buttons in the right even if i have selected to be in the left in the gnome tweaks (i saw that gnome tweaks version is 42.5) both work fine on ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
