  • Teeheeteehee…reminds me of the days when Intel fanboees made fun of burning Athlons

  • Why are our Android phones over volting batteries, and making them bulge?

  • I'm ready to guess the solution, I think.
You're the doppler effect. Specifically, echolocation of a ball.

  • I have laptop from the affected CPUs. No problems , weeks of uptime.

  • I can’t agree more on the whole EV craze to put everything into one shitty little screen. I want buttons across the dashboard to control the functions of the vehicle. I don’t need one screen that I have to scroll through like I’m flipping through chrome tabs in order to find the thing that I want. It’s a shitty design and it needs to stop

  • Definitely not the same as the desktop chips, because….. laptop chips are almost all soldered to the board. That is a LOT more expensive than just replacing desktop socketed CPUs. Intel DO NOT WANT this to be the same issue, because there are probably more laptops these days, and replacing whole motherboards is another level of financial pain!

  • Fun fact: The newest Windows update broke Bitlocker… kinda like how Crowdstrike just did

  • jokes make we want to not watch. so out of place

  • This whole situation is kind of annoying. I got my scar 16 13980hx/4090 as an open box deal from Newegg and just rolled with it crashing because the deal was so good. I’ve since shunt modded and water cooled the laptop, so there’s absolutely no way I could ever get a warranty claim on it, but it has always had weird instability issues that I just assumed were related to what I have done/why it was open box…

  • In the good old days, I could adjust the heat, vent, temp, radio etc., without taking my eyes off the road. Just because it's new does not make it better.

  • We just don't install CrowdStrike on Linux.

  • STILL think the Apple tax is too high??? My M1 Max still screams and gets crazy battery life.

  • "Intel seems to be down playing [sic] …" — "downplaying" is a compound word.

  • “Tell me you don’t have an Intel based PC without telling me you don’t have an Intel based PC.” Okay – My PC has been running for the past week straight.

  • Riley, being immortal 'droid let's you get you hands replaced, don't be shy about their size 😅😅😅😅for

  • No mention about the oxidation problems that Intel admitted to having?

  • If I find that my laptops affected Intel better be prepared to replace it because I won't settle for less.

  • Dont get it intel makes CPUs for how long? And they still make mistakes like this? yeah they are failing hard. AMD is doing great Intel is loosing this race for sure.

  • amd radeon will always be crippled when it comes to Rey tracing

  • What will happen, is that China will develop their own hardware as well as software. Restrictions have never really worked 100% anyware historically, but it's still the no. one tool, that politicians tends to use…

  • Refresh rates higher than 240hz are not reasonable. The difference is nearly unnoticeable in an side by side comparison in fps games
