BEREC Workshop on IPv6 deployment across Europe



To help the timely transition to IPv6 and to gather information, on 19 May 2021, BEREC held a virtual public technical workshop with the participation of several key European stakeholders involved in the transition to IPv6.

The main objective of this workshop was to share experiences and best practices on the actions taken to facilitate IPv6 deployment at the national level and to debate on how different actors can be motivated to deploy IPv6.

The workshop was moderated by Mr. Pierre Bonis (Afnic) and included presentations from Ms. Constanze Buerger (German Federal Ministry of the Interior), Mr. Marco Hogewoning (RIPE NCC), Mr. Matthew Ford (Internet Society), Mr. Paul Saab (Facebook) and Ms. Maarit Palovirta (ETNO) and closed with a panel discussion.
