  • Customers have the right to spend their money as they wish, whether it's for a temporary solution or a long-term fix. It's their money, and they should be able to make decisions about how to spend it without judgment.

  • Fucking LOVE this video! Always aiming to please. Obviously dude wasn't sweating the money as much as SWEATING! lol

  • 15 pounds times $50 a pound equals $750 +4 hours at $250 an hour equals $1000. Leaks seal $150 so you’re at $1900. Makes me sick to think that a 7 year-old machine is leaking already.

  • Hey u gave him options, nobody forces them to pick one. They do it on their own, keep it up Mikey popes

  • No way the system pulled to 300 microns with a leak. All that did was suck air into the coil. 😂

  • Zoom 😊 I love gas and go !! Except when it’s me pumping in ( I swear a bottomless pit ) in the van fuel tank😕 But that’s the name of the game doing what customers want !!!

  • What you did was the only available option to get this customer thru the weekend and his party on Sunday! Installing a new system on such short notice is impossible and simply unrealistic especially on a weekend with supply houses closed.👍

  • @05:33 I would have made back some of my money by charging you for the meal you had while standing there even if you almost choked on it. That was prime NY bug steak and at $1000.00 an OZ. Good video. Thank You…

  • Video idea, test and review a MR. cool from a HVAC perspective

  • When so,some goes on vacation they spend thousands for an experience. Not a physical item. This homeowner is spending a couple of thousand for the same thing. An experience. A cool house during a party he is throwing. Having said that, stores make money by selling things. Some sell food, some sell cars, some sell clothes. The difference between their wholesale cost and the retail price a customer pays is their gross profit. No better way to make money in the trades on physical inventory, and refrigerant and sealant are two of those. 15# is a home run in my book. You only have a limited amount of,time you can charge for, but inventory is limitless. Nicely done once again.

  • Why would anyone rip you? Nothing wrong with the service you provided to this customer. 100% transparency. Do what the customer wants. Period.

  • Hey, bottom line is he’s having a party this weekend, maybe something important and he needs the house to be cool 🤷‍♂️. I get it…get me thru the weekend, I’ll cross my fingers that maybe it will last thru this summer, and then I’ll upgrade 🤷‍♂️. Hey, it’s his house and his budget…pay the man

  • HVAC Unit from 2016 with a five (5) year Warranty ? If I was having a Party, I would load that Unit with the Refrigerant and Pray it Holds until Bosch is Installed. 👍🙏

  • EPA watching this like 👀✍️📝😂. Sorry had to Mikey

  • There are a Lot of Dumb things in Life but Cancelling a Mtce. Agreement is at Top of a Homeowners List. We previously had cracked flue pipe which can mean Death.

  • Maybe a dumb question ❓ when a furnace is unsafe legally it gets shut down , Ari conditioner is unsafe we let it run what are your thoughts.

  • Most evap. Coils are only tested at 250psi at the factory because over pressurizing them can cause leaks. Or at least that is what I see on the stickers on the coils sometimes.

  • You do what the customer asks! I think u did great. I work hvac in the bay area. We do those costly bandaid fixes per customer request all the time

  • Wow at the end of the day it’s customer choice. Got to respect it .. I my not agree with it may agree with it but it is what it is. Hopefully it’s holds up for him this weekend

  • I have a system that has a leak. They ran the line set in the wall when they built the house and it all leaked out. What do you think about that leak seal and stuff? Does it work with your professional opinion? I was looking at the EC ultimate same type of stuff you use on your website with your honest opinion of it. The coil has a leak. He needs a new system like you said

  • Mike, you don’t film the critical stuff, typical salesman, never seen you fixing a leak, would not let you work on my dog house , bullshitter

  • Love the way you're keeping it real and showing the reality of HVAC service calls. Sometimes it just sucks what the client decides to do but, as you say, they're the client and it's what they're prepared to pay for.

By the way, those were some great condenser shots in the video! Have you considered doing some as high resolution stills on your people can download as wallpaper? It would be cool, nerdy and fun at the same time for real HVAC fans!

  • you have not lived until you work on a 1234YF system. if there is a leak you can't add refrigerant until the leak is fixed! The machine will not let you!

  • Mikey I’m a sprinkler fitter/ inspector with 3 years into the trade making enough to support me, the wife and kid I want to make a career change but can’t survive on helper pay in South Florida 15 – 18 hr what can I do!?
