DHCP Configuration on Microsoft Windows Server

In this video, we will see the steps to install and configure the DHCP server role in Windows Server .

Prerequisites:
1) You must have an administrative level permission to install DHCP server role.
2) Your server must be configured with Static IP address.

Steps:
1) Install DHCP Server role.
2) Complete DHCP Post Install configuration task
3) Create at least one DHCP Scope
4) Set clients Ethernet adapter to obtain IP address automatically from dhcp to test DHCP server working.
DHCP Sarver ( Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol ) is a client / server protocol. It automatically provides an IP address to a client when requested.

In this video series I am going to implement and configure networking with Windows Server 2016. In the second video from the series we are going to implement DHCP. DHCP can help to automatically assign IP addresses to client devices in your network.
