High Stability Rust in Kernel by Kernel CI – Arisu Tachibana, Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd.

I’m part of the KernelCI Technical Steering Committee and I sent a few small patches for Rust-for-linux. KernelCI is a test system focused on the upstream Linux kernel and rust-for-linux is adding support for the Rust language to the Linux kernel. This abstract is about how rust-for-linux and KernelCI works together. I will explain why rust-for-linux is needed and why rust-for-linux branches need to be tested for stability by KernelCI. I will explain how the current KernelCI is testing rust-for-linux, how it works and how to view the results. I will also explain how to use rust-for-linux.
