Switched Spellforce 2 Anniversary Edition back to Gold Edition and installed the hardware patch. Now Spellforce 2 does not start at all reinstalling or deleting the folder does nothing. I had this problem before only reinstalling Windows helped. Yesterday evening everything ran very well where it was still Anniversary Edition.
thanks for the help i was playing demons of the past , which seems to be even more broken especially the free game mode (Arena bosses max leveled etc ) Cheers mate
This unfortunately does not work for me on a 4k Screen. I get to install everything, then the game starts. max resolution i can pick is some weird resolution like 2050×1020. I tried to force the resoltion via the config but unfortunately it doesn't work. Even worse, when trying to start the game after closing it for the first time, it straight up won't start the game. I would go with the anniversary version of the game but the skill points of my heroes get automatically applied, even when i discard auto leveling. No Spellforce 2 for me I guess…
after starting the game, it asks me for the Access Key of the game
if i buy SF2 Anniversary edition but not from steam, is the the fixes process the same but without the Beta selection the Steam ?

Hey, I have a problem with a flashing screen (it's stobing and even reverting to gold didn't help). Does someone know how to fix it? Tried solution frm this video, even updated grapic driver and nothing 🙁

Recently i wanted to replay demons of the past after replaying the gold campaigns but the utter shock of these horrible "upgrades" was just too mich so i uninstalled it

Is that downgrade compatible with the respec mod? Respec dont work with steam version
i thought those shaders were some bug from game being too old lol, didnt think this would be something somebody has done on purpose
