So today we are going to discuss how to download genymotion android emulator in ubuntu
So guys let’s start
Step 1 : Download and install virtualbox
So to download virtualbox we will have to open our web browser and download the virtual box debian package according to your ubuntu version. Mine is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.After that we will have to download a debian package installer.So to install a debian package installer we should open our ubuntu software and type the following : GDebi Package Installer.Go to files and choose the virtual box package right click on the package and click open with GDebi Package Installer.Now you have to click on Install Package. After clicking on Install Package we can see the virtual box app in our applications
Step 2 : Download genymotion package
To download genymotion package you can just follow which I do on my ubuntu pc.
Step 3 : Setting up genymotion through your terminal.
So for setting up genymotion open the terminal and run the commands given here.
Command 1 : cd Downloads .
Note : You should put capital orelse it won’t work
Command 2: ls
Now you can see all the downloaded items in your pc
From these you will have to copy the genymotion package details which would be given like this : genymotion-3.1.2-linux_x64.bin
Command 3 : chmod +x and paste the thing which you have copied
Command 4 : ./ and paste the thing you have copied.
After doing this genymotion app will appear in your apps screen
