Disabling or enabling Windows updates used to be visible on previous windows versions however this option is hidden in windows 10 but you can find it in just few steps.
Steps:
Click on the start button.
Now type services and click on it.
Scroll down until you find “Windows update”
Double click on “Windows update”
As you can see Windows update is active and set to Automatic.
To disable it click on Stop and change the startup type to disabled then click Apply.
If you want to enable it again just change startup to Automatic and click Apply then Start.
