Install DHCP Server in Windows Server 2008 R2
1. Prepare

– DC1 : Domain Controller (pns.vn)

– DC2 : Domain Member

– WIN1091 : Domain Member

2. Step by step : Install DHCP server on DC2

– DC2 : Install DHCP server

+ Server Manager – Roles – Add Roles- Server Roles : Select “DHCP Server” – Next to Install – Close

+ Start – Administrative Tools – DHCP – DC2.pns.vn – Right-Click IPv4 – New Scope… :

+ Scope Name – Name : Scope1

+ IP Address Range

+ Start IP address : 10.0.0.100

+ End IP address : 10.0.0.200

+ Length : 24

+ Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0 – Next …

+ Router (Default Gateway) – IP address : 10.0.0.30 – Add – Next to Finish

– WIN1091 : Set receive IP from DHCP Server

+ Start – ncpa.cpl – Double-click icon network – Properties – Double-click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” :

+ Select “Obtain an IP address automatically”

+ Select “Obtain DNS server address automatically”

+ Check IP address : Double-click icon network – Details… === Show IP address – OK
