Linux is actually much better than Windows for older games
the only problem with gaming that infuriates me to no end is graphics cards tend to overheat and crash the system being able to make the cards run their fans at speeds of my choosing would be awesome
Emulators could have been mentioned. Lot of consoles games can be run in linux using emulators
