  • need you to do something about league of legends, yes I know I have a problem, but just fix it for me bro <3

  • i cant figure out how to make wow work on linux so im stuck on windows and i only have 1 PC that i use for work.

  • Love your work, Titus! so I am understanding this is still a work in progress? can't wait until there's a finished product. I've been slowly trying to migrate away from Win 11 to Fedora 40, but struggling getting certain things working. I haven't even configured Steam/gaming yet, but I attempted to get Davinci Resolve working and am still having AMD issues where it refuses to playback anything I throw into the app. Maybe you can address this in a future video? 🙂

  • I got stuck playing destiny 2 again even though i stopped playing it for about a year lmao, it is the sole reason i have windows still as a dual boot

  • ive been having some issues with nvidia on bazzite idk if its just me or that i need to wait for next update but i have various x11 issues and wayland issues

  • LTT mentioned.

They lied to their audience for over a decade and took a sponsor from Asus to give them good press when they were caught having horrible RMA processes.

Don't watch them, they do not care about you and will continue to lie.

  • Think imma have to switch to Linux using your scripts. You seem to have it all setup how I use a PC

  • @TitusTechTalk hey man I love your videos, what are you using to draw on your screen?! I have a lenovo ideapad and the lenovo pen, I planned to use it for taking math notes(calculus sucks!) in excalidraw, but my laptop wont pair with the pen on linux so excalidraw wont let me draw since theres no click to tell it to draw!

  • I am saying all of this before watching this video.

I had a long comment about my experience with Bazzite-nvidia and how it sucks, but it got lost. Basically, I'm dual booting currently, and I dread trying to use Bazzite. Most of my workflow is either terminal, browser, or stuff that doesn't work in Linux.

Bazzite has all kinds of flickering issues on Nvidia. The title bar of a window (the part you need to move the window) will randomly disappear. Apparently, the newest beta drivers fix these things, but I have no idea how I'd get those installed. Do I have to wait for it to be in the ostree? I basically hate immutable distros. But, you might say, you can learn flatpak (which I guess is flatseal in Bazzite) and distrobox and whatever else. Yeah, or I can use something else and just install apps like a normal person. The start menu is atrocious. The taskbar is awful.

Debian? Takes too long to update. Arch? Too bleeding edge, and anyone that tells you they've never had any issues on Arch has only been using it for a day. Or they're lying.

And at the end of the day, Warzone doesn't work on Linux. Game Pass doesn't work on Linux. So gaming on Linux is a pipedream for me personally. I knew these things going in. I thought it'd be nice to have an OS for productivity and light gaming, then just boot into Windows for Warzone or a game pass game.

I'm no Linux noob either. I've been homelabbing, running mostly headless Ubuntu, since the 90s. Headless Linux is incredible, and I now have my entire network infrastructure on some form of Linux or freebsd. Proxmox running opnsense in a VM, next to a docker LXC running pihole. DNS set up on opnsense with traefik pulling let's encrypt certificates for my domain, so all of my services, which are running on another Linux host, can be accessed securely. I LOVE Linux. I wouldn't even attempt any of this in Windows. But everything Linux I do can be accessed through a terminal or a browser. I don't technically even need a PC to do that. And my experience with Bazzite has made me all but give up on trying Linux desktop. Maybe it'll get there in another decade.

  • be me updates nvidia driver to 555 ithink? on arch linux black screen……… open terminal logs in to that and removes all nvidia stuff using pacman reinstall/roll back to 550 nvidia driver black screen………. i wanne die ALSO FUCK WAYLAND!!!!!!

  • Looking forward to seeing this move forward, got everything I need more or less working on Pop OS for the moment but played with both Arch and Nobara and am not averse to rebuilding my main system to make things a bit less painful in the future.

  • Tool kit needs fzf, zsh extensions, helix editor, tmux, vs code, zellij, rust and Cargo, Python, mysql, postgresql. Considering it's to make life easy. Not to forget node js

  • Hi Chris. Thank you for your videos, really nice to watch, allthoug i am not a gamer (newer been) , i am Linux (Arch, these days) user. I started to use Linux back in 1998 (anyone remember Debian net-install?) beeing tired that i could not modify Win 2000 NT CD to my liking during that time (no tools back then).

  • scope creap Another thing that might be helpful is apps like discord dont do screensharing for some beacuse of xwayland, maybe getting an xorg setup option would be good.

  • can't wait for this to be finished. I've been wanting to switch to linux for a while but I always run into strange and random issues all the time that I can't manage to fix even checking on the net

  • 2 Steps to Easy Linux Gaming.

    1) Buy a Steam Deck
    2) There is no step 2

Of course, it does run Arch Linux… 😁

  • Bottles is awesome. Been using it for WoW without issue

  • 2 and a half hours to get to a bottom of the barrel starting point to "game" on linux.

  • im high as fuck wit sum toaster strudels watchin titus tech talk video

  • Chris Titus becomes a shill for Bungie and Destiny 2 and watches his subs go down haha.
