Network layer (6/6): IPv4 – A luta continua (Computer Networks)

NAT (Network Address Translation) and port forwarding technologies prolonged the life of IPv4, by decreasing the demand for unique IPv4 addresses. The video discusses these technologies, and briefly mentions tunnelling of IPv6 datagrams through IPv4-based networks. The work of the Internet fathers, as well as the contribution made by Unix to the development of the Internet are remembered.

The video is part of a lecture series made at home to continue online education during COVID-19 lockdown.
