If you could create a security stack, what would it consist of? We’re trying to maybe utilize Windows Defender instead of Bitdefender.
KVM over IP
"The Blustream IP500UHD Transceiver is a SDVoE AV over IP solution that provides the highest-quality, un-compromised 18Gbps 4K with zero latency Audio/Video extension over copper or optical fibre 10Gb Managed Networks.
The IP500UHD-TZ includes support for HDMI 2.0 including distribution of HDR (High Dynamic Range), 10-bit colour content, and multi-channel HD audio signals.
The IP500UHD-TZ provides advanced features including PoE+ and transmission of multiple control and data signals alongside audio and video, including IR, RS-232, USB (KVM) and 1Gb Ethernet.
The IP500UHD-TZ is ideal for mission-critical 18Gbps HDMI installations where multiple transceivers can be combined with one or more 10GbE copper / fibre switches to form a distributed video matrix, multi-viewer, or video wall system."
Not sure on price though.
Man I was so tired after IT Nation.. I missed the after party. I had some food once it started at 7:15 PM but had to catch an 8:39 PM flight. The food was amazing, inside and outside the event. I saw you a few times and wanted to say HI but was on a mission. It was my first time there and was an awesome event.
Hey Tom, wanted to update you on that loop back with TrueNas Scale. It must have been a fluke as I was setting up the VM. On secondary testing through SSH, it showed the denied pings correctly. Now working on setting up the bridge. Not exactly sure why the fresh VM pinged correctly but hopefully it will be fixed some day lol!
I like FREE open source software! I agree that open source needs funding… I don't always agree with the cost or how they monetize it…
For instance PFsense, if I need to call someone I'm more than willing to pay for a support ticket, but they don't offer that, they force the $800 annual thing.
(LTS is often booking a week+ out, not always ideal for PFsense issues)
