  • I've been "doing tech" since I first arrived at the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment in 1992 and they found out I knew PCs and networks.

Two decades and four wars later, I was free…to go right back in as a DOD Contractor.

  • DRBD does high-availability there are guides on making an HA NFS cluster out there that outline all the steps

  • Although I missed the live stream, I would be definitely interested in live courses. Hopefully you have enough interest from complete beginners to offer a basics type of course

  • Comercial reads can add to the show as long as they are products that interest both you and your audience. It is important not to endorce the product but do the read as if your introducing something fun and interesting to your viewers. Endorsment takes too much time, networking products tend to be complex sometimes requiring a whole team of testers. Instead of putting your good name behind a product make the product interesting to your viewers and ask for their input as to the quality and capability in the comments section. The comercial read should be fun and interesting, something to look forward to, not something to skip through. One big advantage of this is that you don't have to write an advertisement for the product, just read from the marketing material, make it interesting and ask for feedback. Easy peasy!

  • youtube is flat out turning to trash but there's no real competition yet

  • Your knowledge definitely needs to be written in a book. A Linux book if possible.

  • Re: Your story: You have to have IT Horror Stories. With pictures, if possible 🙂

  • Online courses would be great, I would be first in line Tom. Your knowledge and teachings have value for sure. If you do I want in.
