Enterprises workloads are fragmented across multi-cloud. This places considerable strain on IT teams to maintain security, availability and visibility across their infrastructures.
We discuss how we are integrating and deploying the Octavia LBaaS. We are also enabling multiple layers of application security (access management, DDoS, firewall) and real-time visibility for applications hosted in OpenStack. The customer journey experience, challenges to adoption and standard best practices are also discussed.
In this talk, we also discuss how to adopt a consistent policy framework across public and private cloud. In a distributed multi-cloud environment, application fluidity, the ability to dynamically scale and migrate applications is an important consideration. Whether done for cost, performance or compliance, there are challenges and best practices learnings that will also be discussed.
