  Does it mean that if this display you showed did came with all what is still missing that the Apple display have, it would STILL be cheaper?

• Current apple studio display lineup is a dumpster fire. I went with LG ultra fine monitors instead, and they're not bad at all. One downside is that my ultra fine 32un880 doesn't support dimming through the IOS's control panel unlike the 4K 24MD4KL-B model, I am not sure why but not a big deal.

• ~ And ( HUAWEI ) is also Proudly Built in …… Communist China ….and they control your Camera….

• Great video. The worst thing about it is that it will gather the dust under the glass as all the iMacs before, which makes it a total disaster.

• THIS is how a monitor should be, instead of the “main” ones like Linus Tech, Unbox Therapy etc. who just screeches on and on and on and ON about BS just to milk the clock for ads thinking they’re so damn funny 🤮

• 7:25 LOL, yes I hate VESA amounts! arms and al that, I prefer stands, sadly Apple fools use with the no vertical rotation.

• I wanted to get it for the quality of the 5k, but there are too many downsides, no option to use it on vesa in the future, no 120hz, no Face ID or Ethernet port. It’s a desktop equipment that feels like a portable one, with attached cable, so not so portable. Jonny Ive left and it shows

• Some people have problems others don't have. Kind of stupid. I have no Problems with the connected power cord, the lengths of the TB-cable nor with the standard stand. Everything seems to be just right, because i would never carrey the Monitor arround with me or want to change the cable and never need a longer cable to the Mac Studio. And the hight of the screen with the Standard stand is just perfect.

• That alternative is… not really comparable at all. The built-in high quality speakers, mic, and webcam are a big part of the appeal to me. And for all the complaints about poor value, a year has passed and there’s still nothing comparable.

• The stand is 400 dollars? I can get a monitor for 200 dollars

• And your huawei monitor will send all your personal info to China which is incredible as well

• Things I would like to see from a new Studio Display:

  •HDR/XDR
  •Swappable stand/mount like the Pro Display XDR
  •Removable power cord or a thunderbolt power cord
  •1 HDMI 2.1 port

• For me the deal breaker was that it did not had a 120hz refresh rate so i bought an LG oled C2 for my mac studio 2023 instead.

• I never really looked into these much because, well… I don't need one. but if it's only 300 more than the "standard" one from a different brand, I feel like the looks and build quality alone justify it. I always thought these were closer to a $1k premium than 300

• If you're upgrading from a 5K iMac and want another 5K display, the Studio Display is the only good option. It's expensive but (if you can afford it) it's a very easy decision.

• I use Apple for over 25 years. If I want pictures from my SD card on my Ipad, I need a 29 Euro connector, which could easily have been built in the Ipad.
  Charging the Apple mouse only works, when you stick the cable in the under side? Yeah, exactly…
  And now cables that are too short, but a longer one is 129 dollars?

  I really need a replacement for my Imac. But I honestly don‘t know what to do. Buy a mac studio, with all the in house made nonsense included? Wait another year or two and pay 4000 bucks for a new Imac pro, should it ever be released?

  And be lectured by Mr Cook about „futuristic“ political content!?

• Soon we will just buy headsets instead of displays so it doesn't really matter 😛

• That Huawei monitor just sounds fake and cheaply built just because of the brand name.
  Now if they sold that monitor under a different brand name, more people would actually buy it.

• Got the Mateview during a decent sale. Got it for less than 1/3 of the cost of the Studio Display w/ high adjustable stand.

  I generally like it quite a lot. I use the mini display port connection therefore no cable clutter issue.

• Apple Studio is a Superb monitor best thing I did for my eyes!

• Honestly I rather have the old thunderbolt display

• Or, get this. Buy a 400$ monitor from Samsung that is curved, has 165hz, 4k and is 34”. Way better experience.

• The video did raise one thing for me and that's how proprietary monitor stands are. I have a Huawei Mateview 27. It came with a really nice metal stand but because I wanted a cleaner desk space I fixed it to a vesa mount which also let me route so the cables aren't visible. But now I'm left with a really nice stand that I can't use.

  I have an older Acer 144Hz monitor which has a stand that you can't adjust so I thought to fix it to the Huawei one but I can't. The Huawei stand only works with the monitor it came with, meaning there is a really well made stand sitting in the corner of a room doing absolutely nothing.

• Do not be a bully to the Studio Display

• It doesn't matter for Apple. Shills and fanboys still gonna buy it because InNoVaTiOn

• I love that display, unfortunately it's too expensive… I'd love to have it at 32 inch at the same price. As-Is I just can't justify getting it, LG Ultrafine 5k is the better deal, but also not my thing. I'm more likely to go for the curved LG 40WP95X

• I feel like LMG cares more about the companies than the customers, two reasons, please let me know why I’m oHh sO tOtAlLy wRoNg
  1: If there is a non-sponsored LMG video out there today then the pigs were already on the moon.
  2: Whenever they give feedback they don’t address the customers, they criticize the company.

  Note: if LMG really IS that desperate to get more margins than Apple then point 1 is invalid

• I got one refurbished from apple for $1350. 100% worth it at that price.

• my problem is that Apple has yet to come out with a option that hasn't fully replaced the thunderbolt display and the Cinema Display, the 1599 price isn't with it for the studio display, id say more 1299. And the LG Ultrafi9ne 4k is still being so when is Apple gonna come out with a replacement for that?

  I don't think it's the biggest disappointment or anything too great, just more overpriced crap.

• Other than the iMac I have never owned an apple display. Apple's flat out refusal to be more customer/consumer friendly is the most frustrating thing ever for a loyal customer. I am confident that as this line of products that become more and more consumer unfriendly steve jobs rolls over in his grave a little more. Forcing the customer into this contract where you can only use a piece of hardware for only what apple wants us to do feels like its own form of a totalitarian mindset. They are limiting individual thought. They went from Think Different to Think The Same And Pay Us More. Don't get me wrong I remember Jobs and his plan to rope society into using Apple products for the big cash payout. I just think at some point they go too far.

• Everything else aside, if it's not at least 120 fps then it's not worth it for me. Especially when it costs so damn much. 60 fps should be obsolete by now or limited to only the most budget devices.

• The Huawei will cost half as much but comes with free Chinese spyware
