  • Ehhh I do think there is some type of bias when it comes to reviewing devices when getting items for review/free when compared to paid products since its much less to callout smaller issues or anything else

  • Gotcha so 64gb refurbished Steam Deck works better!

  • Considering the steam deck goes from $200-$300 on the used market I don't get why people would get this one

  • I like the idea, Steam Deck is just too big for me to take it to work or just when I go outside, especially if I only plan to play some indie or old games. But yeah other companies definitely should improve experience for the buyers

  • I'm excited for the next 5 years in handhelds.

  • I like having devices built for specific use cases, so I play my Steam games on my Steam Deck. What I want now is a device specific for my Epic games library and an Xbox game launcher. I don't want a device I have to modify or install programs for "workarounds" especially when what usually happens is after the next update, you have to uninstall and reinstall everything you just had working perfectly

  • 1080p … on this?
Jesus … 720p would have sufficed.

  • Thanks Bob! Appreciate the effort and content you supply. Keep it up buddy!

  • Not long ago i remembered playing Chip's Chal;enge in 99. I was 4 at the time. Tried it out recently and gotta say I was not impressed. :p

  • Look forward to seeing your vid on the Aya next next lite

  • My Ayn Odin was same experience.

Took about a year and it didnt show until I thought it wouldnt.

Then my steamdeck showed up a week later

  • Linux is the way to go, at least for budget friendly and retro handhelds right now.

A shift towards the open-source alternative and public options, may actually have a massive demand and support to improve it. Linux could have specialized builds and huge gaming community support.

I really, really want to migrate to Linux with gaming as well…..besides compatibility it really needs to sort it's $#!t out when it comes to a minimum and easy to use packaging standard.

    I'm all for Appimage.

  • 600p typically better for low end x86 handhelds especially

  • Make a video of Loki zero using Jelos it can do a lot more emulation on it even Wii u

  • I really want valve to release SteamOS for anyone to just install on their hardware if they want. I have ChimeraOS on my Win Max 2, and its amazing, but it does lack some functionality in the performance overlay, replaced by their own homemade overlay. Its totally functional, but I still wish I could just put fully functional SteamOS straight from valve on it.

  • Consider retention, lack of towards the middle, love the long time. Missing you for all of January. Nontendo did now show up…

  • Eh, I feel like if you only have $200 this isn't what to get. Depends what you want to play, but this seems like it really can't play much, at which point you need to ask why you're not entertaining an Android handheld. IMO save up $350 or whatever for an openbox Ally or an entry level or used steam deck, or just go with an Android one and be happy with that, you can play good PS2 and GC emulation on a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro for $200.

  • I had huge issues with my buying process with them. I'll never buy from them again. My experience was very similar to yours for my Ayn Odin 1. They also said they were gonna have a fix for android controller profiles and they mever did to this day.

They have terrible communication and they were shilling orders to peolle who nought after me. There were constant issues dueing the process. The 2 super docks they sent me also didnt work.

  • Yup, getting any of these devices sucks big time. I would love to see a video about returning a device with problems. How long does it take, do they give you problems, etc.

  • Yeeeeah I'm good with my Steam Deck 😅 only other PC handheld I'd consider would be either the ROG Ally or Legion Go

  • This is kinda of a tangent. But, your general experience is the very reason that I 7 years ago stopped buying ANY game that is in "early access". I have kept the promise to myself, and it has been hard… there are several games that people have been playing for years that they enjoy that I have yet because they are still not "1.0" but I have have at least a dozen or more games that have never, ever been finished. That's it. That's my story. The End.

  • Another reason why the big dogs (asus, lenovo, steam) have a huge one up with selling either direct from the US or just from Best Buy AND having stock in store!

  • I dont know how he manages to over complicate every device payment and delivery… I mean, I just pay and wait :/

  • Using the notification sounds as your bleeps is really not cool. Definitely stop that immediately.
